Bless was a playable character in Def Jam: Fight for NY. Can you say that about your favourite artist? The Montreal rapper teams up with We The Best affiliate Vado for "Luxury Rap," a song that features an old school New York hip-hop trumpet and string beat. To keep the authentic NYC feel for the video, the duo is seen around Harlem's well adorned hotels, crud abandoned warehouses and on rooftops overlooking the notorious neighbourhood. "Fred the Godson put me on to Bless and played me some of his joints," explains Vado of the connection. "I thought he was nice, and when he sent the beat for 'Luxury Rap' I knew the track was gonna be fire.

BIOGRAPHY:
Montreal native, Bless, is armed and ready with his new album Spoils of War. Equipped with battle savvy lyrics and a versatile flow, Bless is part of a new wave of Canadian hip-hop artists making noise internationally. Bless' new album Spoils of War is produced by Mano Soundmachine with assists from Montreal-based beat maker Karlito da Kid. The album, released under a new partnership with Canada’s premiere independent hip-hop label URBNET, features tracks with Fred The Godson, Statik Selektah, and Vado.

At an early age, Bless began grinding his way through the hip-hop scene. He was signed to both Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit's Flawless Records, as well as, legendary hip-hop crew, Gang Starr through Guru's ILL Kid Records. After signing the deal, he wasted no time and hit the road sharing stages with everyone from Eminem, Gang Starr, DMX and G-Unit, to Limp Bizkit on the Anger Management Tour. Bless was also featured as a playable character in the popular video game series Def Jam Fight for NY that went on to sell over 3,000,000 copies. After dealing with political red tape in the music business that delayed the release of his next project, Bless took matters into his own hands and formed Platinumberg Entertainment, recently partnering with URBNET for distribution to release his own records.
